We have unveiled three fantastic new tennis courts as a part of a project to improve sporting facilities for students and the local community.
The courts have been resurfaced using a specialist material that will also make the courts suitable for other sports.
Physical activity is an important aspect of the curriculum at Cheadle Hulme High School, we believe that physical activity and competition, both inter and intra school, are vital to the holistic development of young people, fostering their physical, social and emotional health.
The brand new tennis courts will be accessible to the public and members of Club Cheadle Hulme, which was recently renovated and includes a multi-gym, a main sports hall with a sprung floor, new lighting, a climbing wall and brand new changing rooms.

Mrs. Perry, Subject Leader of Physical Education said:
“The rejuvenation of the netball/tennis courts are a fantastic addition to our amazing facilities. The new surface will allow us to use them throughout the winter months and ensure that lessons and fixtures can go ahead regardless of the weather. We are looking forward to hosting some of the AEGON National Schools tennis fixtures this term!”
Cheadle Hulme High School and Club Cheadle Hulme are both entities of The Laurus Trust, a newly formed trust which is supported by the Law Family Educational Trust (LFET) – established by Andrew Law, a former student of Cheadle Hulme High School.
