Dave Brown, Headteacher at Cheadle Hulme High School, said:

“We are delighted with the wonderful results achieved by the hard work and determination of our Year 13 students. It has been a true privilege to watch them grow and flourish over the past two years and they are beyond deserving of all their success.

“We know that this would not be possible without the team effort between our students and their teachers as well as their supportive parents and carers. As their Life After Laurus begins, we look forward to hearing about their exciting next steps – I know they all have bright futures ahead of them.”

Linda Magrath OBE, CEO of the Laurus Trust, added:

“We are incredibly proud of the Cheadle Hulme Sixth Form Class of 2024 and their amazing A Level results. Staff and students have worked extremely hard to ensure this success, which has been reflected in this remarkable set of results.

“On the back of these huge successes, we are excited to see some great outcomes from our newly opened Laurus Sixth Forms at Hazel Grove, Didsbury and Laurus Ryecroft too next summer, when their first Year 13 cohorts receive their A level grades. We are confident that students in all our Laurus Sixth Forms, regardless of personal background, can achieve the grades, and develop the qualities and attitudes, to open the door to the future of their choice.”
