Cheadle Hulme High School has donated funds raised by its students to two local charities, which have been impacted by the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
Thanks to money raised through non-uniform days earlier in the year, the school has donated £500 to both Chelwood Foodbank Plus and Stockport and District Mind.
As part of the project, students have also been asked to write 100 words discussing why the two chosen charities are so essential at this time.
Chelwood Foodbank Plus is an independent organisation, operating across Stockport. As well as providing food, they also offer kitchen equipment, bedding and other essential household items to those that need them.
Stockport and District Mind is an independent mental health charity, supporting adults across Stockport and the surrounding areas. It is also affiliated to the National Mind charity.
