In December our Year 10 GCSE Drama students across the Laurus Trust got together in the CHHS Auditorium to watch a fantastic performance of our set text ‘DNA’ by Dennis Kelly performed by the wonderful Quirky Bird Theatre Company.
This engaging interpretation featured some truly dynamic performances from its small but highly talented cast of actors who breathed energy and life into the darkly comic text.
Students came away inspired by the direction and characterisation choices made and were thrilled to engage in a lengthy post-show Q&A to discuss ideas on the play’s themes, issues, and complex characters.
What a way to round off a super start to their first term studying GCSE Drama!
