The students were fantastic, and totally engaged in the workshop titled ‘Perceptions of the Face’.
During the day students experienced talks from Psychology lecturers from Manchester University about how we perceive faces, identify features and recognise those around us. They were then able to work with a painter who specialises depicting faces affected by skin cancers, and with a photographer who explored the face as a landscape.
The day itself was a perfect mix of Art, Science, practical experiences and lectures.
